Salvation Mountain .....

As much as I love quiet time to indulge in the power of simplicity with my family, I burst with excitement when adventurous opportunities arise. Big or small, I love to see new sights, feel new spaces and breathe new air. Sometimes the adventure bug gets so itchy, I JUST GOT TO GO. A couple months ago we had a free evening so we drove out to Salvation Mountain. It was extremely hot and we drove to the scorch zone like smarties. The drive was long. The kids napped while Silvio and I talked, grooved to music and tripped out on the area. We had heard of the Salton Sea, but wow it was huge. There was the oddest giant holes in the middle of the desert. The town was super trippie !  Here some pictures from our little trip ..........

Blace ran and climbed all over! Samantha had big eyes! She kept calling it "the magic mountain." I love seeing them embrace new adventures also! It was a fun day!!! And I am SO ready for a new adventure!

Our Family Photos ....

It has been awhile since I blogged!!

Well I have been on such a roller coaster! Gym, Work, School, Play time with my babies, Laundry, Chores, Homework (LOTS), Husband time, Photo sessions and editing! I do not know if it is the endorphins I get from working out now but I am starting to feel better about my load. I wake up at 515 and I just go.

Recently, I was feeling really down because I felt like so many factors were out of control in my life. I was feeling the pressure and I was caving. We have now made the decision to actively pursue our dreams. Our journey has begun and it feels really amazing. This year we had the largest setbacks in our entire life. We have not given up throughout these setbacks and we won’t. Every day. Every week. Every month. We are now taking stepsforward! This year I have made more progress on my goals than I have in entire years. We are fighting for our future!!!

Our journey towards our dream to settle in a sweet rural spot with a small farm , tall trees and running water is in motion…..

I'll share more details soon when our traction is deeper.

Last month we took our annual family photos with my friend Meghan from Meghan Wiesman Photography. I am so glad we did ! Here are a few favorites.

As I mentioned on social media when I posted this photo. We always hide under the blanket from whoever is outside and coming our way. Blace puts his finger over his lips and says, shhhh shhhhh. Samantha covers her mouth to hold back her giggles, but she can't help it! We all burst with excitement at the reveal!!! It is just something sweet fun and silly we do A LOT. I wanted to capture it for all us.

Dang it feels good to be in the pictures with my family!! Meghan did a beautiful job at capturing us and I am forever grateful to have these. Nostalgia will be brought by these !

Also,I haved hired a professional to get my website up and running. She is knee deep in it now and it should be done next month!!!

Super Chill Weekend !

I decided that this weekend would be super chill ! No homework (which I know I will regret). No running around town. I had a couple of photo shoots scheduled but I was going to shoot in my back yard. The shoots got cancelled because of our super chilly weather here in Oak Hills. So that made our weekend even more chill.
I did take out my camera but the light was always so awful that I shot in black and white. I love these sweet little moments I captured. They had a blast making messes, painting and playing. Samantha learned about the metamorphosis of a butterfly and it blew her mind!! Silvio and I watched a scary movie and those funniest home videos. It was a simple and good weekend. I hope that everyone had an enjoyable relaxing weekend!

Now I am ready for my 5am wake up call! Three more weeks of school!!! Yeyyy !
